Altherr - 9- Methods of Tutoring

I think diagramming is very important especially in math. I have tried to use alot of this concept with a Math 70 tutee. When it comes to polynomials there can be  multiple steps involved and mistakes can be made easily. I have tried to show the student if each step is written down it can make it clearer and they can step back and see where they made their mistake.
