REZA- Module 8
As I mentioned before, I have not had the opportunity to tutor anyone at this point. Therefore, I will give an example from prior experience. I have worked with children and teenagers, and during both sessions, I have implemented the "Diagramming" approach. It seemed that a lot of tutees learned better by seeing what they were learning. If it was a math problem, I would draw it out on the board or print off a diagram. Also, since I work out on the floor in the CATS Lab, I often help students with their classwork, whether it be for Computers, Keyboarding or English. There have been a few situations where I used the "Demonstrating" approach. I would show them how to do something and then let them try it on their own. I think that is the best way because if you always do something for someone, they will not learn.
