Another attribute I would suggest would be Encouraging. This
attribute will help to raise the tutee's spirits when a tutor is working with
them. The more encouragement the tutee receives the better he or she feels
about the work they are accomplishing. Encouragement can really help out the
individual struggling with their work.This will help them to do better and to feel more confident in their course work.
Right on. I've been reading a bunch of books about learning to shoot recently, and one of the big commonalities between them is starting off at pretty short range. Being able to hit targets well right off the bat creates confidence, which keeps you open to trying more difficult shots. I think this applies well to tutoring, too.
